Northern Arizona University

Northern Arizona University is one of just a few colleges in the country with a campus located in a national forest. Founded in 1899 as the Northern Arizona Normal School, it later became the Northern Arizona State Teachers College and the Arizona State Teachers College at Flagstaff.
